Maddi is a Vietnamese American, two-time author, stroke survivor, and disability advocate passionate about helping Vietnamese youth and their families achieve. Her personal experience and involvement in the stroke and brain injury community inform her decisions each day. She brings to the board an enthusiasm and desire to impact the lives of others. She obtained a double major in Spanish and Justice and Peace Studies from Georgetown University and continues to give back to her school as an alumni interviewer. Maddi works as a Community Engagement and Advocacy Manager at CIONIC, a biotech startup committed to enhancing mobility for people with disabilities through the first bionic clothing for mobility impairment.
