Education

When poverty restricts educational access, it risks extinguishing a brilliant mind long before its potential can ever be realized. Our education programs provide essential learning tools and financial support that keep children in school, turning a daily struggle for resources into a lifetime of opportunity.

A quality education is the most powerful pathway out of poverty, yet for thousands of children in Vietnam, this path is blocked. Economic hardship forces families to choose between economic survival and a child's schooling. Students in remote areas travel unsafe distances, often without proper supplies or support. For girls and ethnic minorities, the barriers are more severe.  Without intervention, talented students are lost to a cycle of limited opportunity, their potential never realized.

By the numbers

  • Over 50% of students from ethnic minority groups do not complete upper secondary school.

  • In rural and mountainous areas, nearly 1 in 3 children lack schools that provide quality learning environments.

  • The transition from lower to upper secondary school sees a significant drop in enrollment, often due to cost and distance.

Nurturing Minds, Empowering Future Leaders

Our comprehensive approach supports students at every level, from primary school to university. We provide the essential tools-financial scholarships, academic tutoring, mentorship, and life skills-to ensure that poverty does not extinguish their potential,  but acts as a challenge they have the resources to overcome.

Bright Scholars Program

This university scholarship initiative supports high-achieving, disadvantaged students. Beyond financial aid, it fosters leadership training through workshops, cultural exchange, and a supportive community, empowering scholars to pursue ambitious careers of their choosing (medicine, education, engineering, hospitality, languages, IT, science and mathematics, to name a few).

Study Steps Tutoring and Life Skills Program

This secondary school program provides critical academic tutoring and life skills training for students at risk of falling behind. It builds a strong foundation for success, guiding them confidently toward high school graduation and their next steps in higher education or vocational training.
