What is “The True Gift?”
Across Vietnam, approximately 1.8 million children under five suffer from stunting due to chronic undernutrition and deep regional and ethnic disparities (UNICEF, 2025). Meanwhile, structural hardships push over 1 million children aged 5–17 into child labor. Furthermore, for the country's population of children living with disabilities, systemic gaps mean that less than one-third (under 33%) attend upper secondary school at the appropriate age.
When children face these immense barriers of extreme poverty, remote isolation, and systemic disadvantage, their innate talents, resilience, and unique potential are far too often obscured from the world. What they need most this holiday season isn't just charity, but the care, educational tools, and solidarity that uncover their abilities - allowing their true gifts to grow and shine.
