Become an Ambassador
Your voice, your network, your passion-amplifying hope for children in Vietnam.
Do you share our deep commitment to creating lasting change for vulnerable children in Vietnam? As a Children of Vietnam Ambassador, you become more than a supporter-you become an advocate, a bridge, and a vital part of our mission to build foundations for life.
Ambassadors are the heart of our community: individuals who use their voices, networks, and creativity to turn awareness into action. Whether you're hosting a conversation, sharing our work on social media, or rallying your community around a cause, you are helping to write the next chapter for thousands of children and families.
You are not expected to be an expert. You are a bridge-connecting your community to a cause you care about.
Choose your path: three ways to serve
Every ambassador brings unique gifts. Select the ways that fit your interests, time, and network. The goal remains the same: turning compassion into lasting change.
Direct fundraising through your personal networks
Ways to engage:
Host small gatherings (coffee chats, house parties, dinners) to introduce friends to COV
Celebrate your birthday, wedding, or milestone by inviting donations to COV
Share COV updates and stories on your social media channels
Launch themed campaigns around Tết, Mid-Autumn Festival, or our annual events
Create a personal fundraising page and invite your network to support you
Best for: Ambassadors who love connecting personally and rallying friends and family around a cause.
Peer-to-Peer Fundraising
Becoming an emissary-connecting COV to organizations in your community
Ways to engage:
Introduce COV to Vietnamese student associations (VSA) at local colleges
Connect us with your place of worship for potential partnerships or fundraising
Reach out to Vietnamese-owned businesses in your area about collaboration
Share COV with community clubs, professional associations, or social groups you're part of
Connect us with Veteran Affairs organizations or veteran service groups
Best for: Ambassadors with deep community ties who want to open doors and build partnerships.
Community Outreach
Creating moments for people to gather, learn, and give
Ways to engage:
Host an at-home dinner, luncheon, or house gathering with friends
Organize a booth or table at a community bazaar, cultural festival, or farmers market
Partner with a retirement community for a presentation or giving drive
Represent COV at local events, sharing information and gathering contacts
