Our Mission
Children of Vietnam breaks the cycle of poverty for children and their families by removing barriers to opportunities and providing targeted, comprehensive support. We drive lasting change by building a collaborative ecosystem of donors, communities, and partners.
We Serve
We serve children living in poverty with programs dedicated to providing each child wraparound services designed to uplift and give them the brightest possible future.
We Collaborate
We collaborate with community members, local authorities, and our donors to produce positive change, build sustainability, and create community-based solutions.
We Promise
We promise to provide the maximum benefit from our resources and deliver aid effectively, efficiently, and transparently.
Children trapped in extreme poverty
Children in Vietnam born into poverty, have little hope for the chance of a better life.
More than 66% of the population lives in rural areas, where whole families earn as little as $1-$2 per day as rice farmers.Â
Children growing up in extreme poverty often have no choice but to quit school and move far from home, exposing them to dangers such as trafficking, homelessness, sexual exploitation, drug abuse, and illness.

Taking care of each child’s immediate needs
Children of Vietnam envisions a Vietnam where all children flourish, reach their full potential, and contribute positively to society.
Our wraparound programs address the many challenges children in poverty face. We do this through early and long-term education, sound nutrition, healthcare, and clean water & sanitation.
We collaborate locally, investing in training, advocacy, and systemic change to make a real difference. We do this one child, one family, and one community at a time.
