Anna Huynh

Anna has been engaged in social justice for Vietnam since her early post-baccalaureate days as a VietFellow when she launched a wheelchair accessibility mapping project to create a guide for people with disabilities to navigate throughout District 1 in HCMC and raise awareness on the lack of equal access and equal opportunity for people with disabilities living and working in District 1.  COV calls to her because of their approach to working directly with the beneficiaries, community members, local providers, and local government for over 20 years to provide wrap-around services to support children and families in Vietnam so that their economic status does not define their future.  Anna serves on the Development Committee where she leverages her knowledge of technology, social media strategies, and community engagement to help build brighter futures for children. Following 6 years at Google, Anna founded Social Studies Marketing, a company that grows local business’ customer base using social media management, and joined Sunlight Giving, a foundation that supports organizations focused on improving the lives of California’s children from low-resource families, as a Senior Grants Manager. She earned a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Anna lives in San Mateo, CA and enjoys cycling and spending time in the sun.
